When the Homeschool Day Spins Out of Control!

Homeschooling, as with anything in life, has it's good days and it's bad days. Sometimes it's like we are on an emotional roller coaster with no harness to hold us in.  After I arrive home from a long day of work on one of the "bad days" my wife will tell me to go and "Don't spare the rod!" on the kids (because we live in a P.C. society). So when one of our listeners sent me this video I really connected with it.

Being a Christian homeschooler it does not get to the physically portrayed boiling point as shown in the video but I think the mental image is what we are feeling.  Hey, there will be twists and turns, ups and downs and even some "loop D loops".  Yet, when you think about what we are accomplishing it all makes it worthwhile. So, hold your head up homeschoolers and when you take a look at this video, realize that there are people out there that may be going through a tougher time than you.

BTW, they do use H-E double Hockey Sticks once in this video so be cautioned if you are watching it with your kids.

Enjoy...

Oh I do not even think so. My kids would NEVER disrespect me like that. And if they did, it would be resolved in a heartbeat. While I see the humor portrayed, that scene is so typical of today's parents refusing to exercise their God-Given authority over their children and it's a shame.
