ABC-TV Introduces New Series Which Mocks Christians And Erodes Liberty

Christians have been the butt of jokes in the media for quite sometime. From Lindsay Lohan playing a socially naive homeschooled girl transitioning to highschool in "Mean Girls"; to the sheltered Christian girl in "Paul" who meets an alien that crumbles her faith and converts her into a bad language using, sex crazed drunk. However, ABC-TV has decided to take it to another level by focusing their sites at Christians with what amounts to hate speech. In their new show called GCB (which stands for Good Christian B*****es), and which is also on their Sunday line up, they are basically establishing an ongoing Christian bashing spree each week.

Michael P. Farris, HSLDA Chairman said, "This program ridicules Christians, Christianity, the Bible, and Christian symbols in ways that would be unthinkable if aimed at any other religious group."

"... it is becoming publicly acceptable to demean Christianity. Our freedoms go with our faith. If they attack our faith, they surely will attack our freedom," said Farris.

Christians need to fight back. Protest this show by contacting ABC-TV and their sponsors with an email. There is a time to turn the other cheek but now is not that time.

Our freedoms are constantly under attack so we must be ever vigilant as Christian home educators.
